Mutilator (Bra) - Immortal Force (1987)

Mutilator (Bra) - Immortal Force (1987)

So far out of all the bands featured on the first Warfare Noise I have only mentioned Sarcofago and Holocausto, now for Mutilator.  The original vocalist, Silvio SDN is no longer in the band and vocals are handled by guitarist Kleber.  For me, this is a bit disappointing since the vocals on the demos and Warfare Noise are truly out of this world.  Also, the cover artwork is a bit bland at first glance.  The logo more than makes up for that, as well as the LP being printed in silver and being embossed too, so you get to not only see how nice of a logo it is but feel it also.  Besides those points, don't feel let down as this here piece of plastic and cardboard comes from nowhere but the very depths of Brazilian hell.

Just listen to that into on Memorial Stone Without A Name.  You know an album is going to be good when the first 5 seconds of the first track makes you feel as though death is near, confirming such thoughts with Kleber's first UGH. As you turn over to side two you can truly understand the power of this band, with the intro to the track Mutilator.  The guitar plays the intro riff and then all of a sudden, BAM, fucking brick wall of noise, never letting up for one second.  I only really wish they had included the track Evil Conspiracy or even any of the two tracks from Warfare Noise.

  1. I don't know if you're still around but, can you please re-rip this? The audio is mono.
